Our founder Herman Alter is the backbone of the great company MRC has become. From a small team of two workers 20 years ago to over 30 full time workers today, our gratitude towards Herman cannot be defined with words. Our most proprietary service is Herman, from designer to carpenter, and builder. The experience, ability, and work ethic of our founder is hard to find. We thank our founder for all our accomplishments and how he has lead the way.

Starting with sales at 16 years old, 8 years ago, our President, David Alter, son of Herman has grown to lead the company. From backend logistics to front end sales/marketing, the business has scaled greatly since David took position as president. As a licensed GC in the State of Florida, David input his license into the company and added new services to the business. Today David envisions new milestones for the business to achieve and is leading the way.
QUICK HISTORY
Metro Renovation Construction was born from a carpentry business that goes back over 40 years to the grandfather of president, David Alter, and father of Chief Advisor, Herman Alter. As an upholster and carpenter in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Jose Alter taught his son, Herman, the craft of carpentry when Herman was only 14 years old. After finishing school as a licensed builder in Argentina, Herman moved to Israel and France to grow his craft and work in new environments. Five years later, Herman moved back to Buenos Aires where he opened his very own Carpentry. After just a couple years the business grew to over 70 workers divided into carpenters, installers, project managers, and administration. In 2001, the Argentinian economy crashed and Herman decided to move his talents to South Beach. Starting from zero, small jobs were the bread and butter of the family. Overtime after client recommendations the business grew and Herman opened the family carpentry business in Aventura, FL. Years later after the crash of 2008, the carpentry business began to boom and many clients were requesting for the entire project site to be managed by MRC. In 2015, Herman son, David, begins to work as a salesman already having shadowed his father for many years, immediately the business grew with another leader stepping in. By 2020 David received his General Contractors license and activated it in the company. Today we offer a full design-build service, from design concepts to architectural drawings, city permits, project initiation, certificate of completion, and more. MRC has created the full package design and execution team. We continue to craft some of the finest carpentry projects in the United States while scaling our business with upscale renovations and custom build homes. We offer joint venture opportunities for commercial construction projects unlike any other GC in the state. Our story has had a beautiful path and whats ahead is much greater.
